Genetics Center remains open and is here to serve your clinical and laboratory (7 days a week) needs during the unprecedented pandemic. Our in-house IT group has worked rapidly to allow us to offer both telehealth and video-counseling, which is available to all of our patients. Our patients and clients remain our top priority, and we are taking additional steps to ensure continuity of our services and everyone's safety.
Physical Safety Precautions
We are also taking additional steps to ensure everyone's health and safety for in-person visits. To maximize the safety of our patients, we have distributed protective face masks to our staff. Our reception areas have been equipped with acrylic glass sheets to maximize the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.
To better facilitate the needs and safety of our patients, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you have opted to receive text messages from Genetics Center, you will receive appointment reminders with instructions regarding your visit.
Please help us keep everyone safe by taking the following precautions during your visit:
- In light of the CDC recommendation to wear a cloth face covering in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain, we are requesting that all patients wear a cloth face covering or mask when visiting the Genetics Center
- In an effort to maintain social distancing practices, we ask that no more than 3 patients be present in our reception areas at any given time. You may be asked to wait in your vehicle while we prepare to serve you.
- To ensure the highest standard of care, we ask that only the patient attend the scheduled appointment. Parents may attend the appointment if the patient is a minor.
